Svävestöv -- The Video

Mo i Rana is one of the most polluted towns of Norway. Local metal god-head John Erik Andersen of the bands Allfader and Mayor Gordon made this solo effort, posted on a MySpace site. Local artist Anton Balsam a.k.a. AudiThor made a video, posted on YouTube. My brother made the "Svävestöv" logo and cover design, although there's no physical record.

Statement:

Svävestöv is a musical project born from filth and anger. The band's home town (Mo i Rana, located in the middle of Norway) is now polluted to the point where children in kindergardens are being kept indoors. No one takes responsibility for the gray clouds of smog and dust that threaten our well-being.

Svävestöv sings exlusively in the local Norwegian dialect, 'Ranværing'. This is because the band wants their message heard by the local politicians and evil-doers (many who are illiterate as far as listening/reading/speaking english goes).

Fight with us for the right to breathe clean, healthy air! Destroy those who wish harm to our beloved mother earth! DEATH TO THE POLLUTERS
