Russ Kick's Book of Lists From disinfo.com: The Disinformation Company is pleased to announce Russ Kick’s brand new book, The Disinformation Book of Lists.  Strengt tatt har Kjettersk Kjeller holdt på i ett år og to måneder, men det var først i mai i fjor at vi flyttet inn på Resepten. Siden har det vært stappfullt hver eneste gang vi har hatt et arrangement, og det må selvfølgelig feires.
Samtidig kan vi opplyse at dette med stappfulle lokaler, som har vært et problem lenge, vil bli bedre ved at Reseptens lokaler skal ha blitt bygget om til den 8. mai. Dette betyr større plass, bedre luft – og noe vi har hatt mange spørsmål etter: Dansegulv. Samtidig blir det lettere å stikke seg bort i en krok og snakke sammen i Reseptens nye lokale, bak baren. Det beste fra begge verdener, med andre ord.
For å virkelig feire oss selv har vi hentet vår foredragsholder langveisfra denne gang. Den smått legendariske forfatteren, forleggeren og musikeren Adam Parfrey kommer fra Los Angeles for å besøke oss. Parfreys forlag Feral House (www.feralhouse.com) er en hjørnestein innen alternativkulturen, og som musiker har Parfrey blant annet spilt inn albumet SWAT, en hyllestplate til amerikanske politimenn, sammen med folk som Jim Goad, Boyd Rice og medlemmer av Poison Idea.
Parfrey er en litt annerledes fyr enn dem vi vanligvis inviterer for å snakke, og vi har funnet ut at det beste er å få ham til å fortelle om sine egne observasjoner og erfaringer gjennom to tiår med nærkontakt med mye av det merkeligste av konspirasjonsteorier, undergrunnskultur og ekstrem tenkning. Forvent mange anekdoter om lederskikkelser innen moderne okkultisme, merkelig musikk og generell galskap.
Siden han er litt svak i norsk, vil Parfrey holde foredraget på engelsk, men fulgte du noenlunde med på ungdomsskolen, kommer du neppe til å ha problemer med å henge med.
I tillegg får Kjettersk Kjeller besøk av de to som langt på vei har hele skylda for at Kjeller’n i det hele tatt finnes. Decepticon Boy og Petit Scarabee er et engelsk-indisk-fransk par som står bak klubben Finsternis (www.finsternis.org.uk) i Edinburgh, og det er Finsternis som var den direkte inspirasjonen for Kjettersk Kjeller da prosjektet ble dratt i gang i fjor høst.
Vi har også blitt lovet en gjesteopptreden av DJ Elektronika, som spilte på Kjeller’n i desember og var en av dem som virkelig fikk oss til å savne et dansegulv. Så vi akter å svinge oss utover de små timer. Og det er moro hvis du blir med på svinginga. Kommer du tidlig, kan det dessuten hende du får både sitteplass og bursdagskake…

Paranoid for 12 years "Paranoia - The Conspiracy Reader!" has its spring 2004 issue out, the 35th in all since the mag's humble beginning as a couple of photocopied sheets in '92. Lately it seems it has been sliding further and further into the Holy Grail/Masonic branch of conspiratorial worldview, similar to that of Dagobert's Revenge. Dagobert's editor Tracy Twyman is a regular contributor, and in this issue she serves up "The United States of Europe ... and the Merovingian Master Plan", predicting that the rightful heirs to the european thrones will bring it all together.
Gary Lachman (a founding member of Blondie) contributes a chapter on LaVey and Mansfield from his "Turn Off Your Mind" book. Not bad, but a waste of space for those who've already read the book. Here's an article by Gary on how he got into the occult in general, and Colin Wilson's book "The Occult" in particular.
Dr. Alan Cantwell Jr., known for his controversial viewpoints on vaccines and aids, writes about the origins of disease. Martin Cannon, reportedly a member of many secret societies, tries to untangle the clues in Dan Brown's novel "The Da Vinci Code" (see below). The Holy Grail, Priory of Sion, the Gnostic gospels et.c. all come into play.
