Bad Mags!      
In march 2005 Headpress/Critical Vision will publish the book BAD MAGS, about all sorts of wild and weird adult magazines from the late swingin' 60's and the rip-roaring 70's. In the meantime, check out the author's completely mindblowing website, featuring short articles on various mags and publishers, along with hundreds of insane color covers, all clickable for enlargement.
Also, watch out for Critical Vision's upcoming books Headpress #26: Red Light Zones, featuring my interview with Gretchen Worden of the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, and Creeping Flesh #2, featuring my interview with Bo Arne Vibenius, the director of "Thriller" and "Breaking Point".
If you like sleazy, mindless fun -- and who the hell doesn't? -- check out feral house's "It's a Man's World", a fully color-illustrated, huge coffee table book about macho post-war pulp magazines.
